ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO B.ED COURSE
Candidates with at least 50%marks either in the Bachelor Degree and /or in the Master's Degree or any other Qualification recognized as equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to the programme.
(i) There shall be no rounding off of percentage of marks of the qualifying examination from0.5% and above to next higher number for determining the eligibility i.e. 49.5% and above will not be rounded off to 50%.
(ii) 45%marks for SC/ST candidates of Haryana State only.
(iii) 45%marks for Blind /Persons with Disabilities and visually/Hearing Impaired candidates.
(iv) In case a candidate has passed the Master Degree Examination also after Bachelor Degree, the higher percentage of marks obtained in either of the two will be taken into consideration while Preparing the merit .
(v) Compartmental candidates will not be allowed admission in B.Ed. (Regular Course) in any case.
(vi) Cutoff date for eligibility will be the last date/time of online choice filling.
(vii) One year PG diploma in any subject twill not be considered equivalent to Master’s Degree.
ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS FOR ADMISSION TO D.ED. COURSE
(A) The admission will be open to bonafide residents of Haryana and outside. (In compliance of CWP No. 23829 of 2014 of Hon’ble Punjab & Haryana High Court Chandigarh)
(B) The minimum Education Qualification for Admission to this course is as follows:-
(i) Candidates with at least 50% marks in Senior Secondary (10+2) from Board of School Education Haryana, Bhiwani or its equivalent examination with five subjects including passed English as one of the subject.
(ii) There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in minimum qualifying marks at Senior Secondary (10+2) level for Scheduled Castes (SC), Backward Classes (BC) and Differently able candidates. Further, the said 5% relaxation means at least 47.5% marks (50 x 5/100 i.e. 2.5 = 47.5%), as clarified by the Apex Court in its judgment dated 18.09.2011 cited in 2012(1) RSJ-64 in Civil Appeal No. 7084 of 2011 titled as P. V. Indiresan V/s Union of India and others. However, the said relaxation shall not be admissible to Special Backward Classes & Economically Backward Class Persons in the General caste Category.
(iii) Metric with Hindi/ Sanskrit.
